Topic: The use of digital technology in the classroom heightens metacognition.

 

Requirements at least two annotated bibliographies from the BB repository we created.

 

 

You will now work in a smaller group and write a one page minimum paper that will be added to the compilation (essay either group 1 or group 2 from the last group).Once you chose which one you will add to you are to sit and discuss and put in writing how both of you will incorporate your ideas with adding to the paper with a minimum of one page per pair maximum. This is due Monday March 14th (maximum the one page combination of your thoughts)

 

On Wednesday you will get into a larger group and share your ideas regarding the last classes’ work  (Monday’s) and in a group look at the paper as a whole all 10 or 11 pages and edit it, and use transitions to write the latter half of your essays, change verbs around, pay close attention to citation, see works cited guides are correct, rethink the title and you will brainstorm more ideas to make your paper cohesive and set a date to turn this one in by extensively working on each listed element listed above to change.

 

A journal of your participation will still continue until the last day you decide to turn in your collaborative essays. The latest to turn this is will be Monday the 21st.

 

In the beginning that Monday you will all share your group 1 and group 2 papers work  ( doing multimodal incorporations to accompany your standard writing essays)on them until the 25th of March Friday and come ready to turn in your collection at 8 am that day.

 

The class will be regrouped into two distinct groups from last time there will be Group 1 and Group 2 this is the opportunity to create a brochure, web page, poster, podcast or any medium that would enhance your already submitted work ( you will decide in class as a group what each group would like to work on.  But first you will work in a pair then regroup. Each student will be focusing on the topic above but in relation to a distinct question that will guide your thinking. The two leading questions are:

  1. How does digital technology affect or influence a person’s thoughts?

  2. And 2) How does digital technology create a person’s identity.

 

Group one will do research with question 1 in mind while group 2 will do research with question two in mind.

The class composure of 23 will be divided accordingly. Group one will consist of 12 students while group two will consist of 11 students.
